This "Climat"
This climat is located on the hillside slope in land belonging to the old hamlet of "Gamay".Tasting
Appearance : a beautiful golden, limpid colour Bouquet: The nose combines minerality and yellow fruits with a citrus hint to form an appealing harmony with finesse and elegance. In the Mouth : The mouth feel is tender, balanced, sound with great tension and expresses the pure aromas of fresh fruit.
Terroir
The vines are planted in shallow calcareous soil where limestone gravel mixes with brown clay on the surface. The village is located in a valley that errs on cold and windy and is characterised by very steep, clay-limestone, stony soils. Most frequently south-facing, these slopes offer excellent geological qualities.- Chardonnay
