This "Climat"

This « lieu-dit » in Meursault was noted in the 18th century in the Grand Atlas of the Abbey of Citeaux: "Pré de Marches" which refers to the exposed rock bars forming like steps. The top of the hillside is very mineral and the old quarries of Caillerets and Santenots are very close.

Appearance: Yellow gold, limpid and brilliant Bouquet: Delicate, f loral with white flower notes Mouth: Great combination between tension and fat, generous first mouth feel with a rich and elegant body, supported by considerable minerality with flinty notes, remarkable tension

Terroir

Facing southwest, quite high on the Meursault hillside, upstream from the "Cras" and the "Caillerets", in the part of the appellation which joins Volnay towards the north, this terroir is made up of shallow and very stony soil.
