This "Climat"

Located on the hillside, this particularly stony climat was left uncultivated for a long time. Its name is therefore derived from the Old French "Jarrie" which was used for areas that were difficult to cultivate.

Tasting

Appearance: sombre and full Bouquet: delicate and elegant nose with complex notes of fresh red fruits In the Mouth : the mouth feel is creamy and complex and reveals notes of blackberry and blackcurrant. The finale is fresh to provide great balance with the silky tannins.

Terroir

Located just outside the village of Aloxe-Corton, the "Les Guêrets" climat extends over the bottom of the hillside on an east, south-east facing mound. It is formed of clay, very fine marl and limestone.
