This "Climat"

The word "Santenots" is said to be formed from the Gaulish "Sentu" which meant "Path". This name alludes to the paths that passed over this mineral hillside and led to winding between the quarries towards Auxey-Duresses.

Tasting

Appearance : clear and golden Bouquet : an intense and subtle nose with notes of white flowers Mouth : this wine is mineral and silky with aromas of fresh fruits and fine spices and a complex and elegant finish.

Terroir

On a slight slope, this terroir faces south-east. It is located at the bottom of the alluvial fan of the Auxey-Duresses valley. The soil is deep, clay-limestone combining friable limestone with light, stony marl.
